Rhomboid Push Ups, exploring movement and having fun doing it

What’s the WHY for your rhomboid push ups?

It’s such a seemingly simple exercise, but there are lots of bits and pieces you can focus on that change it up. You can think about the movement of your shoulder blades or the planting of your hands. You can think about your wrists or your spine.

And most importantly, you can think from a perspective of curiosity and exploration!

(This is a Facebook Live, so the video quality isn’t amazing, sorry about that)

For a cool demonstration of how much your hands affect your shoulders and your rhomboid push ups, try this 5 minute hand session, then go back and do the What’s the WHY video again!

If you want to play with all these RPU variations, but you still want a bit of a break for your wrists, try alternating the RPU with this superstar underarms hanging prep. They go BRILLIANTLY together!

What’s YOUR why?
